Das Aufgabengebiet umfasst u. a.

Responsibilities include the management of medical engineering related activities at FAU and beyond, networking with partners, the coordination of European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) Health programs, the professional and active support of the admissions process for the study program in Medical Engineering, the implementation of seminars in Medical Device Regulation and other educational events.

The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented person with a university degree, practical experience in project management, solid English and German skills, and an interest in business creation. The Managing Director will lead a team of part- and full-time staff and student assistants to ensure the continuation of ZiMT services.

Notwendige Qualifikation

We are seeking a person with a university degree, preferably from the field of engineering, and practical experience in managing people, projects and budgets. You are sociable, proactive, enjoy networking and are competent in analytical and creative thinking, consulting and organization. Additional requirements for the position are solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, websites, database systems) as well as good interpersonal skills. Contributing work for the department’s other functions is expected where appropriate.
