Ihre Aufgaben

The Chair of Electrical Smart City Systems at the Faculty of Engineering has three open positions for research associates, for PhD students and/or post-docs (f/m/d).We are seeking highly motivated and innovative researchers [research associate, PhD student, post-doc] to join our dynamic team in the area of Joint Communications and Sensing (JCAS) for 6G. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in both communications and sensing technologies and will be able to conduct cutting-edge research in the field of JCAS.

Responsibilities / field of activity

  • Conduct original research in the area of JCAS, including developing new algorithms, protocols, and architectures for joint communications and sensing systems.
  • Design and implement experiments to evaluate the performance of JCAS systems in real-world scenarios.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to develop and test new technologies and applications.
  • Publish research findings in high-quality conferences and journals.
  • Participate in grant writing and proposal development to secure funding for research projects.

Ihr Profil

Notwendige Qualifikationen:

  • MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on communications and/or sensing technologies.
  • Strong background in wireless communications, signal processing, radar, and/or remote sensing.
  • Experience in developing and implementing algorithms and protocols for communication and sensing systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Matlab, Python, or C/C++.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
