About the job portal

The job portal is a search engine for various job vacancies at FAU. The public job offers are automatically read, indexed and displayed from various administrative systems in use.

• There is no editing, modification or adjustment of job offers
• All data and contents were taken from the source systems
• The respective contact persons are responsible for the content and spelling

A search function can be used to search through all job vacancies. Job offers found have a fixed and unique URL as long as the offers have not expired.

Contact and help with ambiguous or incorrect entries

If you have any problems or wish to report errors in individual vacancies, please contact the relevant contact person directly. Entries can only be corrected in the source systems from which the data was retrieved. It is not possible to correct or add to entries in this portal.

Source systems and synchronization

Job vacancies are currently retrieved from the following systems:

• BITE
• Interamt
• UnivIS

The system recognizes identical job offers and does not display them more than once. To determine whether the job offers are the same, the job portal checks whether the following fields are identical:

• Job title (UnivIS: “Type of job”/Interamt: “Job title”)
• Date of appointment (UnivIS: “Earliest date of appointment”/Interamt: “Date of appointment”)
• Salary (UnivIS: “From salary/remuneration grade”/Interamt: “Employee pay scale level”)
• Organization and email address of the contact person

Synchronization takes place every 3 hours on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.; every 12 hours at night and at weekends.
