Organization and development
Our colleagues from organization and development ensure the functionality and profitability of university resources. They install modern technology, coordinate construction and renovation projects, develop quality standards and are responsible for site management and for controlling purchasing and materials management.
Plant and machine engineering
Our teams are responsible for maintaining technical plants and systems. They monitor, service and put our systems through their paces. Whether you are interested in building control systems or measurement, control and regulation systems, air conditioning, heating or cooling systems – there are lots of different opportunities!
Electrical engineering and alarm systems
This is the central hub for everything to do with the security and functionality of our systems and machinery. Our experts in high voltage systems, low voltage/transport technology, telecommunications systems, and locking technology keep operations running smoothly and reliably. Construction and facility management
Our colleagues from construction and facility management pave the way for effective construction and infrastructure projects. They monitor and manage construction works, procure the necessary major instrumentation and ensure that rooms are used efficiently. The perfect job for organizational talents, hands-on-talents and communication professionals!
Commercial facility management
Staff here are responsible for building management, facility services, energy and media management and property concerns. They monitor energy and media resources and coordinate cleaning and property protection services. Their tasks also include the central allocation of rooms and administration of maintenance contracts and parking spaces.
Operational environmental management and technical safety
This department ensures that water protection regulations are complied with. They are responsible for technical safety, waste disposal processes and operating the FAU recycling depot. Sustainability is part of their mission. Here you can make a direct contribution towards protecting the environment!
Postal and caretaker services
The teams providing postal and caretaker services are in charge of operating the mailroom and internal printing services, building maintenance, removals, signage, key administration and checking room requirements. From mail to maintenance, they handle essential day-to-day infrastructure tasks.
Research and teaching services
Our colleagues from areas such as the electronics or mechanics workshop, the various laboratories and the botanical garden make a major contribution toward strengthening and expanding research activities and infrastructure at FAU. Their expertise ensures smooth operation of scientific equipment and facilities.
